Admissions Events

iStart Program 2008 – The 3-day iStart event is August 28 – 30, 2008. During this event, mandatory for incoming freshmen, students will participate in team-building activities, learn tips for academic success, get involved with Warrior Service Day, meet with peer mentors, and much more! New Student Orientation – Newly admitted freshmen and freshman-level transfer students admitted for Spring/Summer or Fall 2008 are required to attend an Orientation program during the summer. During Orientation students will attend presentations, receive their WSU OneCard, meet with an academic advisor, register for classes, and more. On-Site Admission Sessions – Undergraduate students interested in applying for and enrolling in the fall 2008 semester can participate in On-Site Admission. Sessions will be held at the WSU Welcome Center, August 25 - August 29, 2008. Students can submit an application and all required documents and receive an admission decision the same day. Students that have already submitted an application can bring any outstanding materials to the On-Site Admission session to complete the application and receive an admission decision. Preview Day - Saturday, November 1, 2008 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the WSU main campus. Prospective and admitted undergraduate students and their parents are invited to this fall event. During Preview Day there will be presentations from Admissions and Financial Aid as well as various other programs and departments. Students and parents will also be able to take a tour of the campus, speak with representatives from areas such as the Honors College, Housing, Academic Success Center and more.
